  • Notes
    • After Cecil seperated from his wife he did not retain contact with his children.
In early Nov 1989, his daughter Brenda was notified that he was seriously ill in the Mary Potter Hospice in Wellington. Cecil had a sore leg, gone to the doctor who told him he had cancer and less than a fortnight to live. Brenda her husband and children went to Wellington to see him. The following day they went back to see him again but he had slipped into a morphine induced coma and died shortly after.
