    • In the 1891 Census her first name is given as Annie.

      Ann was a witness at her sister's wedding in 1906

      Ann died after cutting her finger on an aluminium pot. Her Death Certificate states she died of a severe whitlow and diabetes, in the Edinburgh Royal Infirmary, but her usual address was Silvermine Farm. Alexander Shanks, her brother-in-law, was the informant.
