  In 1861 he was a Ploughman at Miller's Linlithgowbridge. "Miller's" gave its name to "Millerfield" where William Kidd and Elizabeth Fraser Bennet lived at one time Walter was the informant on the death of his wife, Agnes Bird, in 1916 Informant on the death of Walter Kidd was John B.
