• Notes

  Carole Tedja gives his date of birth as 1902 but Army records give his DOB as 1905. This may have been to lower his age so he could enlist, which he did at St. Kilda, VIC, on 1 Jan 1940. Harry died, at Heidelberg, VIC, in Dec 1973 and was buried at Fawkner Crematorium and Memorial Park, VIC, on 13 Dec 1973. (There is some dispute as to whether the death occurred in 1972 or 1973 also whether Eva's last name was Daymond or Daymon and whether she died 1973 or 1975.)
