Notes |
- Miriam Elizabeth Stewart married a British representative ( for lack of
a better word), and they were posted all over the world and at one point
were taken as prisoners of war by the Japanese. They told their cousin (
who lives in the States) about their adventures and how each time the
government sent them to a new country , the country seemed to fall apart
as soon as they git there, the family joke was that it was all their fault. (From C J Pearce)
