  His first marriage was to Janet Black. Their banns were read at Kikliston on 27 Apr 1838. His second marriage was to Jane Pender in 1840. According to his Death Certificate Janet had died but I cannot find her death before 1840. After the death of Jean he married Henrietta Reid in 1867.
