  After the death of her husband, Henry Taylor, she sailed for the USA, from Rothsay, Scotland and Southampton England, on board the Bergenland with her three children. Arrived in New York on 3 Nov 1923. According to the Ellis sland Immigration papers, Mary was going to stay with a friend, Mr Harold Anderson. Mary went on to marry Harald Christian Pederson. He had been born at Aahns, Denmark on 23 Dec 1893. He died 1 Aug 1976, at Saratosa.
