    • Norman and Jean met about 1961. He had stabbed his first wife and his marriage was ending. Within a few months Jean was pregnant with Kate. Norman was taken to meet Beaverbrook in the south of France who liked him so Jean and Norman married. The marriage lasted less than 2 years.
